The Cole Collection Event

The Cole Collection event is a boutique shopping fundraiser. The core purpose for the Cole Collection event is to impact the children in the foster care system by making their holiday a little brighter this year. The proceeds from the event will allow us to purchase holiday gifts for children in foster and relative care in Allen County. Our goal is to purchase gifts for all of the children which ranges from 100-170 children each year. INSPIRATION BEHIND THE EVENT:
For the past four years, we’ve held an annual shopping event in Lima. Last November, I started thinking about how we could expand the event in 2014. As I started thinking about the event a few thoughts came to mind:
How can we incorporate a non-profit into the event? How can we bring in more vendors offering unique products? As the answers to the questions started to fall into place I uncovered a common thread, Virginia Cole Galvin Crouse. At this point my grandmother had passed about two years prior but her impact on me was more profound than ever before. Her core fundamentals were faith, family and philanthropy and those, too, are the core fundamentals for the Cole Collection. In honor of Virginia, we created the Cole Collection event to carry on her legacy. The committee and I sincerely appreciate your consideration in support of this event. Best,
