I do other installs besides furnace and ac from time to time.

ACIQ system I installed for a customer. Not a much heard of system, but I admire the price and craftsmanship of them. They coat the outdoor fins and evap coils to prevent corrosion and are very easy to service!

Old Pulse 21 from 92! I aways tell this customer how much I admire the upkeep on this old work horse! Clean and pulses like its new! Upkeep, regular maintenance and inspections has done it well over the 30+ years!

Times are tuff and money is tight! I completely understand! I can fit your new equipment into the old duct work and make it look clean! This customer could barley afford the unit. So I intergrated into the old work and as she gets money saved, we will go back for the heat pump and finish off everything with new metal! Rome was not built in one day!

Really nice high efficiency heat pump Im installing! Cools to 125° outdoor temp and heats to -22° outdoor temps! This ACIQ unit will self adjust as the home demand increases and decreases! Meaning in cool mode it can be 1.5, 2, 2.5 ton depending on the load demand. Efficiency is half of a regular heat pump.

Stay Brite 8 makes a clean, low heat copper bond.

And the dirty evap coil shows it's demon face after several years! This is the one part of the puzzle customers don't see. Most look ok on the outside, but here is the carnage beneath! With no way to absorb the heat needed for healthy operation, this system was hurting. Restrictions cause pressure rise and put a damaging toll on the units. Poor air flow will cause much higher cooling bills, refrigerant leaks, a less cooling effect, poor air circulation, duct/air contamination and premature system failure! A new customer told me today that he called a big name hvac company and they told him it would be 3-4 weeks unless he wanted to pay a $175 emergency fee. In this heat every AC call is an emergency! I charge $60 to diagnose and can be there for ya that day or the next in most cases! Better Call Shaw!
