It’s TIME Lauer Farms 1944’s Reenactor registration is now open! It filled incredibly fast last year and we expect the same this year. If you missed it last year jump on it. We have a ton fun things planned since this year we’re falling on Halloween weekend for both Reenactors and public spectators, stay tuned for more details.

Happy national doughnut day from Lauer Farms 1944 with our favorite doughnut Dolly!

We have so much stuff in the works this season, but don’t worry the main event is still going to be bigger and better with new surprises in store.

Registration is open for Fort Fest, Rolling Victory (our joint venture with Fort Wayne Railroad) and new this year our first Private Tactical Forgotten Fields (joint venture with Auglaize Village). Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Lauer Farms 1944. We wouldn’t be the people we are today without our mom’s and we thank you for everything. ❤️

For the first time in nearly 6 years the guns of Europe are silent. People around the globe celebrated the end of the war in Europe while continued fighting in the pacific theatre showed that there was still much to be done. At least for the part of the world it was over and rebuilding would begin soon.

Today 81 years ago Germany signs the terms of unconditional surrender in Berlin. The official end of the war would be May 8th and the beginning of the rebuilding would start soon after.
