This is Blake Cowan, and we had the privilege to get to baptize him today!
Blake is such a testimony of faithfulness-he loves to come to church every Sunday. Our old building we had guys that would carry him and his wheelchair up a flight of stairs to get him into the sanctuary.
He is the sweetest, and always ready with a smile Every. Single. Sunday.
He couldn’t wait to get baptized today!
It was such a pleasure to meet so many of his family members that showed up to support his public testimony of faith!

What a GREAT Super Sunday! ❤️
We are so thankful for our amazing Fellowship Team—Kiley & Asia, and everyone who helped make today so special!
From the planning and preparation to setting up, serving, welcoming, helping, cleaning up, and all the little things in between—so many people jumped in and made it happen. And honestly, those “little things” are what make a day like today feel so BIG!
Thank you to everyone who gave of your time, energy, talents, and resources. We are incredibly blessed to have a church family that doesn’t just show up—they SERVE. Pastor Garrett and I appreciate every single one of you!!💕
Kiley and Asia, thank you for leading the way and making today such a success! And to EVERYONE who jumped in wherever you were needed—thank you! We appreciate you more than you know! 🫶
What a great day at Resurrection Church! 🙌❤️

SAMSON’S HAIR GREW BACK | A Message of Restoration
Samson failed. He compromised. He lost his strength, his freedom, and his sight.
But there’s one small line in his story that changes everything:
“However, the hair of his head began to grow again after it had been shaven.” — Judges 16:22
His hair growing back was more than a physical detail—it was a sign that his story wasn’t over.
Maybe you’ve made mistakes. Maybe you’ve walked through failure, disappointment, consequences, or a season where it feels like you’ve lost what God once placed on your life.
God is still able to restore.

EXPLORING THE HOLY SPIRIT
His Person • His Purpose • His Power
Tuesdays 10am-11:30am Starting October 6th
Thursdays 6:30pm-8pm Starting October 8th
Who is the Holy Spirit? What is His role in our lives? And what does the Bible teach about His presence, power, and gifts?
In this six-week Bible study, Pastor Garrett will lead us through Scripture as we explore the Holy Spirit—His person, His purpose, and His power.
We’ll look at who the Holy Spirit is, His work in and through the believer, what it means to be filled with and led by the Spirit, and how He equips the Church through spiritual gifts—including the gift of tongues.
Whether you have questions about the Holy Spirit, want a stronger biblical understanding, or desire to grow in your relationship with Him, this study will help you discover what Scripture teaches about living a life led and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Study led by Pastor Garrett Myers

As Christians, we are never alone.
God never promised that we wouldn’t face difficult seasons, unexpected circumstances, or moments when we feel overwhelmed. But He did promise something powerful: He would never leave us nor forsake us.
No matter what you are walking through today—grief, uncertainty, fear, loneliness, change, or a battle that no one else knows about—His presence is with you.
There is strength in His presence.
There is peace in His presence.
There is comfort in His presence.
There is hope in His presence.
You may feel alone, but you are not alone.
Join Pastor Garrett Myers and REZ Church for “The Power of His Presence” as we look at what it means to live with the confidence that God is with us—not just in the good moments, but in every season of our lives.
“For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” — Hebrews 13:5 NKJV
