Unfortunately due to some issues that have occurred in our personal life, the opening will be delayed to the end of May. While unfortunate, it gives us a chance to make sure our treats are perfect for your fur family!

Hello everyone! Its been a while since our last post and things have been crazy! Between the winter weather and calves being born, we have been busy!

But I'm posting with some good news! We anticipate fully opening for the public by the end of March! What does this mean for our customers? What takes so long?

My goal is to be 100% transparent, which means doing everything by the book and ensuring you know the quality is there along with clear communication.

Here is the breakdown of steps that we have been busy with!

-Refining our recipes, thanks to the animals that voulenteered as taste testers, we have been able to perfect our first few recipes we plan to launch first!

-Instituting a recall plan, in the event a product used in the making of our treats is recalled, we have a plan in place to pull the affected lot numbers from sale and communicate to the buyers affected. This is standard with any treat product.

-Microbac testing, all of our treats are in the process of being tested, which means we can have a full nutritional label for all of our treats so you know exactly what your animals are eating all the way down to the kilocalorie!

-Certification, This is the last step! We will apply to have our treats certified through the NC Ag department!

But why do all this? Not all these steps are required.

I wanted to do this so my buyers can have confidence and faith in me that I am providing them the absolute best treats for their animals and that they have been certified through testing and the state. I like to know what is in the food I eat, and I expect the same for my animals!

The second round of winter weather is under way! The wind is howling and the snow just keeps coming! Being a farmer, sunny, rainy or snowy I am out with the animals making sure they are doing fine throughout the day! Heres hoping you and yours stay warm!

Make sure your animals will be nice and warm, even if you have to bring them inside. The poultry and Bruce will be staying in our insulated garage for the weekend. The clean up will be rough but they will be excited to be in the garage they always try to sneak into! The cattle and horses will be enjoying heated barns while we weather the storm together! Still have one cow that has not given birth I am sure she is going to do it this weekend! It always works out that way haha.

Bruce officially graduated from piggy training school today! He is potty trained, knows how to sit, lay down, spin, and is now leash trained! It will be exciting having him with us with our future vendor events! 🥳🎉 🐷 🐖
