Two hybrid meetings will be held on Thursday, July 31, to discuss the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) Environmental Justice (EJ) process.

The meetings will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Cary Memorial Building's Estabrook Hall and on Zoom.

It's official: The Lexington High School Building Project has advanced into Schematic Design!

What is Schematic Design?

Schematic Design is Module 4 of the building process outlined by the Massachusetts School Building Authority. All communities who partner with the MSBA for project funding must follow this process.

During Schematic Design, the Project Team works with the MSBA to refine the chosen design (Bloom). Over the coming months, the design will be refined to produce a more concrete project scope, budget, and timeline. Once Schematic Design is complete, and if the Town's proposal is approved by the MSBA Board of Directors, the project will be able to move into Module 5: Funding the Project.

Note: This meeting is specifically for property abutters to the current high school. Other community members are asked to respect this if they wish to attend.
