Maryanne and Ginger are beautiful 8-week-old kittens. They play hard and then sleep hard! They are a bonded pair and would love to go to a home together. We love being invited to take some of our animals to local schools. The students learn how to care for the animals, treat them with kindness, and understand the importance of compassion and responsibility. Tuesday we visited Children's House Montessori School. They loved all the kittens and Buddy, the golden retriever. It was a fun visit for the kids and for our volunteers!

Sweet Maggie is a smart girl. She's young and we're guessing about 9-ish months. She learns quickly, is very trainable (good on leash) and eager to please. Maggie is great with children and other dogs. We don't know how she is with cats. She loves car rides and playing fetch. Maggie is spayed, vaccinated, house and kennel trained. Luvie is a 1.5-year-old blue heeler. She is good with other dogs and cats. She was only exposed to two people her entire life, so she does take time to warm up to strangers. Once she is comfortable with you she is a very good and friendly girl! She is in need of someone who is willing to work on her socialization and helping her to realize that people aren’t so scary. She absolutely adores water and will ‘help you’ water your plants whenever you have a hose or sprinkler out! She has never been around children. She is spayed, vaccinated and house trained. ADOPTED! This is Subie! She is a young mama, about 1 to 1-1/2 years old. She was recently spayed, and now that her kittens are grown-up, she’s looking for her forever family! She is very petite, and loves to talk. She was pretty spicy with other cats when her kittens were little and she was in protective mode, but has settled down now and is very sweet and gentle. She loves pets and would do great with someone looking for a young cat who isn’t too wild. She is current on vaccinations. This darling boy is Tonka. He is 12 weeks old and a bit of a wild man! He loves to play, climb, and wrestle with the other cats. Despite his wild side, he is also super lovable. He is quick to cuddle and is a great napping buddy! He would love to be in a home with other cats, but would also do fine on his own, as long as he has plenty of attention! In his 9 months of life this pup has had too many "homes" (3 that we know of). Jax wants a yard to run in, someone (dog or cat) to romp with and a lap to nap on. He likes to go for walks, playfully chase cats and follow his human around the house. He sports some cute wired hair and is a terrier or mixed with terrier. He has long legs, a curled tail, and a slender frame weighing in at about 20 #. Jax is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready for a place to land.
