On 5/19/25, Nez Perce Tribal Police and Nez Perce County Deputies were dispatched to an unknown injury accident for a vehicle over the embankment on Wild Rose Gr. in Lapwai, Id. The reporting party told dispatch the vehicle matched the description of the vehicle Louie Harris was driving. Upon Law Enforcement arrival, Mr. Harris was found deceased. Mr. Harris’ family has been notified.

The Nez Perce Tribal Police would like to extend our condolences to Mr. Harris’ family, friends and to thank the many people who helped look for Mr. Harris.
