🚛🦪 Big news for Don’t Chuck Your Shucks!
The Center is hitting the road with a BRAND NEW truck and wrap dedicated to oyster reef restoration and cleaner waterways! This new ride will help collect recycled oyster shells from participating restaurants, transport them to the curing site, support restoration projects, and raise awareness throughout the watershed.
Why is the Don't Chuck Your Shucks program important? Recycled oyster shells help build oyster reefs that:
💧 Improve water quality
🦀 Create habitat for marine life
🌊 Protect shorelines from erosion
Keep an eye out for the new truck around town and help us spread the word about Don’t Chuck Your Shucks! 🦪♻️
