Happy Valentine’s Day - glassy edition! ❤️❤️❤️

I saw a picture of a Rosy Maple Moth and was sure it couldn’t be real. Well, turns out it is and it’s adorable. So I made it in stained glass. And it already sold. And will be a Christmas present for an entomologist.

“Naughty” sideboard is all done and in its permanent spot in the office. Although the painting process was not as smooth as I had hoped, I’m pleased with the result.

A couple of months ago, our zoo grew by a kitten. Meet Auggie the Ragamese and Finn’s new best friend (whether he likes it or not, but he secretly does). This little fluff ball loves ice and we can always find him by dispensing some from the fridge. He hates his nails being trimmed, but loves attacking toes, and even has his own suit of armor, although he’s already outgrown it. Get ready for some kitty cameos.

Apparently, cobbler’s kids do get shoes from time to time.

This little sofa is the very first thing I upholstered for myself and I can’t wait to spend some time on it. Recovered in a pretty mauve low-pile boucle fabric.
