Assumption University Dance Team is a nationally ranked program comprised of dedicated student athletes who strive for excellence both athletically and academically. The Assumption University Dance Team competes highly at both the regional and national level. The team competes in D2 Pom and Team Performance, which combines pom, jazz, and hip-hop styles of dance. The team travels to nationals annually in Daytona Beach, FL, where they have earned top 2 and 3 finishes multiple years. The team also prides itself on representing Greyhound Spirit on campus, appearing at home football and basketball games, and other community events. The team holds annual clinics that prospective dancers are encouraged to attend to learn more about the program. The team offers scholarships for incoming dancers, and hopes to attract strong technicians, campus leaders, and scholars in the upcoming recruitment years.

McPherson College Dance Team is returning to competitive status in the 2026-27 school year. Our team dances at all home football games and basketball games with potential to travel for post season events. Our competitive team will compete in the NAIA 6-10 times per season as well as at NDA College Nationals at Daytona Beach, FL. McPherson College Dancers are varsity athletes at McPherson College and receive athletic scholarships, adidas gear, and access to many resources on campus such as chiropractors, athletic trainers, weight room, gym memberships, tutoring, a writing center, and more!
