I get a lot of questions from people on where the best places to print photos are.
Here's my answer.
http://lindsayrossblog.com/2014/03/where-should-i-print-my-pictures/
Where should I print my pictures? - Lindsay Ross Blog I get asked this question alot. My answer: It depends on what you’re using the pictures for. I know most professional photographers will say to only get your photos printed at a professional lab. The only time I disagree with this, is based on your answer to the question, “What are you using the p...

Books that inspire better, more meaningful living. - Lindsay Ross Blog My parents did hundreds of things right. But one of their greatest accomplishments, in my opinion, is ALL 6 of their children are avid readers. We read. A lot. I don’t know how they did it. I don’t remember being forced to read as a kid, nor do I recall them reading to me (I’m …

Things I learned from my mom. - Lindsay Ross Blog Just like most kids, I learned a LOT of things from my mom. Most of which I didn’t acknowledge or recognize properly until I got a little older. Grilled corn, avocado and tomato salad with honey lime dressing. So good. - Lindsay Ross Blog I’m grateful for Pinterest for so many reasons. The biggest being all the new recipes I’ve found there. I’m not a great cook, nor do I love to cook (though I love to eat) so any help I can get in the kitchen department is welcomed with open arms. My biggest beef with most recipes, …

I'm a big fan of podcast listening while driving in the car, working around the house, doing laundry, whatever.
This one is worth a listen. An interview with Mel Day who was diagnosed with a cancer doctors can't fight and was given five years to live. Her positive attitude and personality in general resonated with me. And I love the Awesome with Alison podcast. She makes me laugh.

To all you parents out there parenting kids/teens who struggle, this is SO worth the read (and worth reading if your kid isn't struggling).
"So many of our teens are physically broken in their minds and hearts, and the magnitude of their hurt completely overwhelms their capacity to overcome on their own, but instead of a chorus of support, their families receive silence or judgment or disappointment which compounds grief and lays a heavy yoke on those who are already suffering."
This is so so good.

Capturing your Every Day - Lindsay Ross Blog One type of photo I love more than ANY other is every day stuff. The little things that are seemingly mundane and boring. The things we do and see every single day. The things we think we’ll remember forever because in this specific moment they’re a huge part of our life. But slowly, over time,…
