Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find.
Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Hair Salon, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Hair Salon in our local Welcome Kits.
It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 55% of new residents and families seek out a new Hair Salon shortly after their relocation. As such, more than one-half of our Welcome Kit recipients are actively looking for a new Hair Salon.

Just a few updates:
Our salon decided to stay in Phase 2 for the safety of our clients and staff. This is something we felt necessary to do with the Covid counts going back. With that being said here is what we will continue to do:
1. Absolutely no double booking. 1 person to 1 client. (Unless accompanying a small child).
2. Front door remains locked, clients should call their stylist once they arrive and the stylist will let them in. Giving the stylist time to sanitize and clean their station and equipment.
3. Nobody in the waiting area.
4. No food or beverages in the salon. (We are not allowed to offer drinks, snacks or candy at this time).
5. If you have a fever, or are sick please reschedule your appt. If you have come into contact with anyone who has Covid you need to reschedule your appt.
‼ We understand that VA is now in Phase 3, but we will continue to follow Phase 2. We are trying our best to keep the salon clean and safe for everyone. These are difficult times for everyone so please bare with us and understand it's for everyone's own good!

Just a few important things that will be taking place in the salon:
🔸️If you are sick, have a fever, cough ect, please reschedule your appointment beforehand.
🔸️All clients will need to wear a face mask, unless of course instructed not to because of medical issues. ALL stylist will be wearing a mask as well.
🔸️Please wait in your car until your appointment time. Please be on time. (We are spacing appointments out in order to insure proper sanitation, in between clients). We are also working less hours 8-1 or 2-8 shifts, to make sure every stylist has a chance to work.
🔸️There can only be 10 people in the salon including the stylist. Groups of family members are not allowed. 1 person at a time can be in the salon. (Small children of course can be accompanied by an adult).
🔷️Again I want to thank each and every one of my clients for being patient and understanding. I know this hasn't been easy on anyone. I want to insure everyone that I am taking every precaution to meet the CDC guidelines, as well as OSHA, and state board requirements.

How is everyone doing?
To say we are missing the salon life is a huge understatement. Hopefully, if we all continue to , and stay healthy we can be back to work before June 10th. (Per the governor of course).
Salon Loudoun misses everyone of you, and thanks our clientele for everything they have done and continue to do. Things may never be the same again, but what better way to start new experiences and new beginnings!

Wanted to take a moment and insure everyone that Salon Loudoun is taking every precaution to go above and beyond the sanitation guidelines of the CDC and OSHA. Every station, chair, door handle, shampoo bowl, cape and towel, are being disinfected after each client. All touch screen devices are wiped down with disinfectants. The bathroom is being cleaned, and stocked with lysol and disinfectant wipes. We have hand sanitizer for clients and ourselves. At this time we will be removing all magazines to insure people aren't passing around any more germs.
We do ask if you have a fever, and are sick to please reschedule your appointment. We cant take a risk of clients and stylists getting sick. We will also do our best to get everyone rescheduled.
We are also keeping up to date with any new information from the CDC and local news.
