‼️IMPORTANT announcement‼️

Virginia Governor, Ralph Northam, spoke yesterday and is planning to slowly open up the State. May 15 salons can operate by appointment only, with 50% occupancy. Clients and workers must wear face masks. No services can be done during which a mask cannot be worn, for example, beard trims and lip waxing. Phase 1 of reopening will be in place for at least two weeks. "Science, data and safety" will drive the decision-making.

❌Mond Hair Lounge will NOT be opening on the 15th. We are still in the build out and construction phase. We have also not received any guidelines provided by the Virginia State Board for Barbers and Cosmetology as to what our professional guidelines and restrictions will be. But don’t worry! 💡

This little door signifies so much. This is the door to my new salon, Mond Hair Lounge! It’s not only the entrance to my new place of business but it also signifies the opening of a new door and new phase in my life. The past few months have been challenging and life changing for us all and finding this light in a time of darkness was my saving grace. I am over the moon excited to bring you along on this journey as the transformation of Mond begins!

Joining me in this new venture is my good friend and fellow hairstylist, Cassie Steele . This past week and a half we have worked together tirelessly to bring our vision to life. Our goal is to create a relaxing, earthy, and comfortable atmosphere where you can come to escape the daily stresses. One of our top priorities is guest and stylist safety. We are committed to offering a safe space and we want you to feel confident in our ability to maintain all appointed guidelines and restrictions through the State of Virginia and The Department of Occupational and Professional Regulation for Barbers and Cosmetology.

Our grand opening is set for June 11th! I will be reaching out in the next coming weeks to get you back on my book in the order in which your previous appointment was canceled. I thank you for your support, understanding, and excitement as this new phase begins. It is going to be a special little place and I cannot wait for you to watch it come to life.
