I got the opportunity to visit the Nickelodeon Resort Riviera Maya during our Travel Allies Society Symposium as Karisma Resorts hosted one of our dinners (Thank you Marilyn Cairo Karisma!). The characters were out taking pictures and I definitely felt like a kid again giving them all hugs! I may have screamed a bit when Donatello, Leonardo, Raphael and Michelangelo crashed our party๐คฉ

Tampa International Airport will suspend all commercial operations beginning at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday ahead of Tropical Storm Idalia, with the Airport remaining closed until it can assess any damages later in the week.
The Airport anticipates reopening Thursday morning, with damage assessments beginning after the storm passes. TPA will closely coordinate the reopening of the Airport with its partners based on roadway safety, facility readiness and staffing. Any changes to the timing will be promptly communicated.

Disney is closely monitoring Hurricane Hilary and making adjustments based on the latest information from the National Weather Service.
Disneyland Resort theme parks will close early tomorrow, Sunday Aug. 20, with Disney California Adventure Park closing at 9 p.m. and Disneyland Park closing at 10 p.m. The Downtown Disney District will close at 11 p.m.
Resort hotels will remain open to serve our guests staying with us on property.

Due to an outage at FAA, all domestic flights have been ordered to be delayed until at least 9am.
The FAA had said in a notice on its website that its Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) system had โfailed.โ A NOTAM is a notice containing information essential to workers involved in flight operations.
"Operations across the National Airspace System are affected," the FAA said in a statement.
โThere is no evidence of a cyberattack at this point, but the President directed (the Department of Transportation) to conduct a full investigation into the causes,โ she said, adding: โThe FAA will provide regular updates.โ

NEWS: Kempinski is set to open its third luxury hotel in the Caribbean next week, with a new resort in Cancun.
Kempinski is taking over the former Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, which removed Ritz-Carlton as its brand over the summer.
In the interim, the hotel has been operating as the โGrand Hotel Cancun managed by Kempinski.โ
The brand change officially takes effect on Dec. 9, a spokesperson for Kempinski told Caribbean Journal.
Itโs a significant change for the 360-room resort, which had for years been one of the top luxury resorts in all of Cancun.
Itโs set in the heart of Cancunโs Hotel Zone.
Kempinski now has three luxury hotels in the Caribbean region: the Cancun property, the Cabrits Kempinski Resort Dominica and the Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski in Havana, Cuba.

Day 2: I will get to visit a local Souk and do some shopping. ๐ Then, Iโll be headed for a tour of Al Masmak Fortress.๐ After lunch Iโll be doing a site inspection of Four Seasons Riyadh at Kingdom Centre!
