- Scientific Online Posters: Research-focused exhibits available online only.
- Educational Online Posters: Teaching-focused exhibits available online only.
New this year: Abstracts that are selected for ARRS 2027 will also be published as part of a publication for Roentgen Ray Review.

Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the CNS. Accurate differentiation from mimics like multiple sclerosis (MS) and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) is critical due to stark differences in treatment and prognosis.
Characteristic periependymal brainstem lesion in 37-year-old man diagnosed with aquaporin-4–IgG–seronegative neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder. Axial T2-weighted FLAIR MR image at level of upper pons reveals focal, patchy hyperintense lesion (arrow) involving left dorsal superior pons, left superior cerebellar peduncle, and adjacent subependymal surface of fourth ventricle.
