Christina and Michael are opening their new seafood and meat market TODAY. I’m so excited to see another beautiful vision executed and feel so honored they picked our pork and chicken to carry in their store! We delivered their first order for this new space Tuesday.
Harvey's Market (Washington, DC)
Located in Union Market, the butcher took in two hogs and multiple chickens yesterday. They are the first DC partner we have took on after turning away DC business for a few years as we felt it wasn’t the right choice for our family. We look forward to this continued relationship in 2022! Special thank you to Greg Herring for managing the ordering and for always providing honest valuable feedback.
Willowsford Farm (Ashburn, VA)
This unique agri-hood added us to their meat CSA offerings this year. Last week they put in an emergency holiday chicken, pork and beef order for their members due to extra demand. Their CSA members have been very welcoming and we look forward to delivering more meat and agricultural education next year in some unique ways!
The Fermented Pig (Northern VA)
This father-daughter team has been taking as many bellies and jowls as we can give them for the past two years. Co-owner, Josh, has patiently endured my crying kids many times while loading meat. I couldn’t begin to list all the cool stuff he has done this year, follow them for all the updates. They have some big ones coming in 2022!
CBG Building Company (DC/MD/VA)
CBG has distributed holiday bags to clients filled with a variety of our meats the past few years. They have always been so supportive of our family and farm and I couldn’t ask for a better company for Justin to work for. It’s special for me to get to know his co-workers and feel like I’m a part of their team sometimes!

This year Aly and Camden took over store operations, launched a rebrand and revamped this boutique grocery store in downtown Leesburg. They are working tirelessly and we are so happy to have become a part of their weekly offerings!

We’ve got the very talented, Loudoun County natural wine maker, Kent Arendt’s, 2022 label, Boden Young being poured by Kent himself! If you haven’t had the pleasure of tasting these wines before, stop by the shop for a sip and I guarantee you you’ll have a new local favorite.

We figured it was about dang time we added a cute sign to our already sparkly wine wall 💜
If you didn’t already know, our wine selection consists of completely natural wine. But what is natural wine? It’s beyond “organic” (not all organic wines are natural), but natural wines use organic, biodynamic, or sustainably farmed grapes. There are little-to-no sulfites added, no sugars added, or any of the other additives one would typically find in conventionally made wine. The motto is “nothing added and nothing taken away” — this is wine that’s made to be an honest reflection of terroir and grape variety. All naturaaaal baby!
We are so privileged to be working with some of the most talented wine growers, makers, and distributors in Virginia and around the world!

if you’re lookin’ for an easy weekend meal ideaaaaa…ROAST A WHOLE DANG CHICKEN 😛 chop some potatoes, carrots, and onion; butter and season up the bird; throw in the oven at 375 until internal temp is 165. 🍗 chicken salad and quesadillas are some of our fave leftover ideas too 🥰 and save the bones for broth 🔥
