Passing along resources. CCT is a mindfulness/compassion training which integrates traditional contemplative practices with contemporary psychology and scientific research on compassion and is designed to develop the qualities of compassion, empathy, and kindness for oneself and for others. The program was developed at the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) at Stanford University by a team of contemplative scholars, clinical psychologists, and researchers. If you or someone you know is interested but the cost might be prohibitive, there is financial assistance to help cover partial registration costs for those who otherwise could not join the class.
