Our team of dedicated animal loving veterinary professionals provides a great opportunity for development and growth for those looking to make the most of their position. We offer individuals the ability to utilize their strengths to create a unique role within our team while maintaining the fundamental requirements within the position.

The Client Care Representative is responsible for creating a welcomed experience for our new and established clients in person, on the phone, or via email. They work to ensure our client and patient records are complete, handle invoicing, transactions, and maintain open communication channels throughout our hospital departments.

We offer opportunities to cross train within other departments and with future growth, will be developing leadership opportunities for the right individuals! If you have related veterinary, animal care, or client service experience, please reach out to us to learn more!

Key Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Clear ability to create positive client experiences
- Desire to be a part of a dedicated team
- Ability to cover scheduled shifts and rotate Saturday availability
- Ability to multi-task and handle a high energy environment while retaining professionalism and poise

We will be in a team meeting today from 1230-2pm and our phones will shift to voicemail until after the meeting. We will still be rewarding our back-up team with treats and constant praise though. Starting today we will be returning to welcoming 1 fully vaccinated and masked client to join your pet(s) for their visit with a veterinarian. Please check in at the front desk if you are electing this option. Please feel free to call to check in if you prefer to continue with a curbside visit.

We will be opening Monday, August 16th for regular business hours and services. We will be returning to full curbside services only with no clients in the hospital. Hopefully this will be a temporary shift, but we will continue to update you and note these changes when confirming scheduled appointments the day prior. We ask your patience as our team gets the week started tomorrow after the unexpected closure and challenges that last week presented.

We are thrilled and grateful for our tech support company to report that we are able to now access our server.

We will be offering limited curbside medication and food pick up tomorrow from 12-6 and Saturday from 9-1. This will be for prepared/pre-authorized medication refills. We will be working on any new requests left via voicemail and reaching out to you when these are filled and ready to pick up. Please note, we will not be offering services on these days and all pick-ups will be curbside. Our team will assist as quickly as possible and we appreciate your continued patience.

We are happy to share some good news...our server has been restored. We are working on ensuring everything is operational and also working with our team to potentially create med/food pick up hours for tomorrow or Saturday.

We completely understand the frustration this has caused and are working to find creative solutions to assist in time sensitive Medication and Food requests. We will be fielding voicemails as soon as we have team members back in the office and will provide pick-up hours as soon as we have secured support to meet these needs. Thank you for your continued patience.

Extended Closure:
While we continue to work on our server repair we are extending our closure through the weekend and hope to reopen for regular business hours on Monday. We are working to ensure our team is safe and taking this extra time due to potential Covid-19 exposure. Upon planned reopening on Monday, we will be returning to 100% curbside service for hopefully a brief period. We will update you if we need to extend the closure as we move through this process. Unfortunately we still do not have access to the schedule or client database to reach out to clients with upcoming appointments.

Last evening during the storm we unfortunately had a power outage that has affected our server and we are currently working to restore access to our practice management software. Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year experience in a licensed vet tech role and have a current Virginia License. We will continue to require masks as an added layer of safety for our clients and team due to the small size of our exam rooms and the difficulty this and the nature of our procedures present in the ability to continually maintain social distancing. We are also welcoming anyone wishing to have an in person patient visit to check-in at the front desk to start your appointment. Anyone wishing to have a curbside visit can call to check-in and we will be happy to continue to offer this service.

Changes came quickly last week and in an effort to make a smooth and simplified transition towards resuming regular business services and opening our hospital to pre-Covid protocols, we are taking this week to ensure our team and processes are in place. Our temporary transitional phase will begin Monday May 24th. We will be welcoming 1 vaccinated client per Appointment (regardless of the number of pets in the appointment) into the hospital after initial curbside check-in. To better control the flow of clients, our team members will es**rt you and your pet in once the exam room is prepared and available for you and the veterinarian. Please note, for the time being and due to the small size of our lobby and exam rooms, we will continue to ask all clients entering our facility to wear a mask or face covering. For clients that are picking up medications and food that has already been requested and prepared, we welcome you to come in for quick check out. We will still offer curbside services for exams and item pick-up to those individuals that prefer and encourage anyone who is at high risk to feel comfortable doing so. We will not require proof of vaccination but ask that clients be responsible and respectful as our team and fellow guests work through this shift.
