Have you ever watched someone you know talk about something they loved doing when they have not done it for a long time? It’s like you are there with them when they are sharing their experiences. Well, after some serious coaxing I was able to talk Dr. A into getting back into the OR for scheduled C-Sections! By the looks of it I think he had a good time and things went well! It took some time but I truly believe he and the practice needed it! Dr. Ayoub will be performing scheduled C-Sections only at Stone Springs Hospital! This will happen only a couple days a month due to our abundance of office appointments and already busy OR schedule. Please help me in Welcoming Dr. Jack back!!!!!!
Props to Dr. A for taking one for the team! Here is Dr. A getting his COVID Vaccine to do his part on stopping the spread! Thanks for helping to keep our patients and staff safe!

Throw back Thursday to the start of OB/GYN care! Howard Atwood Kelly was the youngest of the four founders of Johns Hopkins, which included William Halstead, William Osler and William Welch. In October 1889, Kelly was appointed the first professor of gynecology and obstetrics, and is universally regarded as establishing gynecology as a surgical specialty. Which by the way is where the Kelly stitch and Kelly clamps came from! I wonder what he would think of Dr. A? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Need an appointment??? We got you! We ensure no long waits for our patients! Although Dr. A is in surgeries today working his magic we have our awesome WHNP covering the office to take care of anything you may need!
It’s Women Crush Wednesday at our office!!!! Today we honor Virginia Apgar!
Virginia Apgar was an obstetrical anesthesiologist who also worked as a researcher. In 1953, Apgar created the Apgar score, which is used worldwide to determine the health of newborns. Apgar also was an important figure during the rubella pandemic, where she helped to prevent mothers from transmitting rubella to their children during pregnancy, and she promoted Rh testing, which identified women that were at risk for miscarriage.
We are hoping you have a Tubular Tuesday! To go with it... here is a little something about your tubes ladies! The paired fallopian tubes extend laterally from the cornua of the uterus on each side and end near the ovaries. They range in length from 10-14 cm and are about 1 cm in external diameter, connecting the peritoneal space to the endometrial cavity. Don’t forget we have appointments available!
And remember if you need an appointment, we are here for you! Wishing everyone a healthy and safe week!
Would like to take a moment and remind our patients that we are still not allowing anyone besides patients in the office. We understand as a family oriented staff how difficult this can be! Please understand the safety of our patients and staff is important to us! Please help us to minimize exposure during this pandemic by coming alone to your visits and cooperating with the changes and precautions we have in place.
Glad to announce in-office and hospital based surgeries are now allowed to proceed.
Please be assured we are doing everything possible to screen for COVID, disinfect and assure your safety.
StoneSprings Hospital information is online for reassurance also.
We understand everyone's anxiety about Covid-19 and wanted to assure you out continued commitment to help ease our patients concerns while providing state of the art medical care.
As of today, we are accepting zero-contact telehealth visits for urinary tract infections (UTI's), vaginitis symptoms or a simple gonorrhea and chlamydia, herpes STD check. If you are having pain or burning, frequency urgency urination, vaginal itching, discharge and/or burning we can do a telehealth visit which triggers an order to have a specimen kit overnight mailed to your home where you can do a self-swab or urine collection and overnight the specimen back and we get the results in 24 hours of receipt of specimen.
I hope this gives more women the confidence to initiate needed treatment without the need for guesswork on diagnosis or further exposure of Covid-19 that corresponds with ER and urgent care visits.
Any questions, please call us at 703-858-5599.
We hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy through the current pandemic. With growing concerns about the availability of supplies at the grocery stores, we wanted to make everyone aware that we do still have infant formula available at our office for FREE. There is a limited supply and we are trying to manage the foot traffic in the office, so if you need infant formula, please call the office prior to coming in to have some reserved for you.

Labiaplasty: Great Experience
My experience was great start to finish. A procedure such as this can be a bit embarrassing to discuss. Dr. Ayoub made it casual everyday conversation. The produre went smoothly and the Dr. followed up with me often. His bedside manner is what you would expect from a great doctor but rarely find these days.
Vaginal Rejuvenation: He is the only Dr I will use for any OBGYN needs.
Dr Ayoub was amazing with ensuring my procedure was as smooth as possible. As I had questions or concerns with my recovery he and his staff made sure I was well taken care of. Was able to get in same day appointments to answer my questions and support me through the healing process. This is my second procedure with Dr Ayoub and I would highly recommend him to all of my friends!! He is the...
Vaginoplasty: Best in the Area
After 9 children, 7 vaginal births, i decided to get back my pre baby parts. Dr. Ayoub is highly skilled and a perfectionist. He took his time, explained everything, and i can not be more thrilled with the results. The outside is a work of art . Its too early to tell how sex will be just yet, but i will come back to give updates . If you live in the area...he is the very best to do this type...

Dr. Jack Ayoub Presents: A New Treatment in the Management of Moderate to Severe Pain Associated with Endometriosis
Wow a celebrity that actually gets it... and speaks factual about endometriosis and adenomyosis.
This is what we do all the time, don't just treat the symptoms and cover up pain with birth control pills. There is treatment.
Also it takes patients an average of 10years and up to at least 5 different OBGYN's to diagnose these disorders.
Don't be a statistic! Come see VA OBGYN if you suspect these conditions.
Great job Reston! We see this in our patient satisfaction with the hospital which has been wonderful!
