Congrats to the winners from the Indiana PGA Pro Lady! The team of George Arvanitis, Julie Kitcoff, Marsha Lyons, and Cheri Chapman from the Country Club of Indianapolis won the Morning Round after firing 14-under-par, 59. The team of Jim Humphrey, Christina Humphrey, Kory Nielsen, and Torrie Smith from Chippendale Golf Club won the Afternoon Round with a round of 13-under-par, 60. Great playing!

The Women of Impact Boone County second quarter 2021 meeting is Tuesday, June 8 at Ulen Country Club. We would LOVE to have you join us! From 6-7pm, we will hear from two previous grantees (Wishing Wings Inc and Boone County Mentoring Partnership) on the impact the grant made with their organization, hear from three nominees on why members should vote their organizations as the quarterly recipient, vote, and announce our 2021 second quarter grantee!

📢📢📢 Tomorrow is the first quarter 2020 meeting for the philanthropic giving circle Women of Impact Boone County! If you like to meet other local women, learn about our local nonprofits, and give back collectively as part of a larger group, this is the perfect place for you to be tomorrow night! 5:30-7 pm at Ulen Country Club. We will also be hearing from two of our 2019 grant recipients: Shalom House and Habitat for Humanity of Boone County (Indiana). 🙌🏼 It’s going to be great!!!

☑️Does the idea of combining your personal gift with other women to collectively award a LARGE grant to nonprofits excite you?

☑️Do you enjoy meeting others who are like-minded and passionate about helping others?

If so, our Women of Impact group is where you should be! Quarterly, we meet, pool our funds together, and award a grant to a voted upon nonprofit...all within 1.5 hours! It's amazing and we think you will love it. Since 2017, we have collectively awarded $137,550 to 12 nonprofits!

Our first 2020 meeting is March 10th at Ulen Country Club, catered by Nameless Catering Company. We would LOVE to have you join us!

Men's Opening Stag Update

Unfortunately, with the excessive rain we received yesterday and overnight, we will not be able to run golf golf carts today. With that, we are moving the Men's Opening Golf Stag back a week to next Thursday, April 21 (1:00 PM Shotgun). All players that plan to play next week will need to sign up again, so that we know if you plan to play. (You may make your own 4-somes or Pro Shop Staff will pair Singles) We do plan to have dinner after golf next week, as well.

As far as today is concerned, we still plan to have a Choose-up (approximately first time beginning at 12:30 PM) for those that would like to play and are ok to walk (forecast is low-mid 50's, sunny, and windy). Please contact the Pro Shop by 10:00 AM if you would like to play, so we can send out pairings by 10:30 AM.
