While the mrs. was working today Jayden and I took a trip south to pick up a new toy. Played with the tractor a little bit and I’m pretty sure it’s his now. Worked on our horse trailer living quarters getting things town out to make new and our own. Ready to get this thing done for the summer adventures.

We are selling our 16’ utility flatbed trailer for sale. Great trailer, has good tires, bearings repacked last summer. Has trailer breaks just need to be wired to new plug. Trailer tongue storage box does NOT come with it. Message us if you’re interested.

When the snow is thick, and the air is the warmest it’s been in a week… you pull ole faithful out from the pasture, saddle her up, and drag the kid on a sheet of feed bunk plastic ❤️

Miss Velma decided to try and amputate her foot over this last cold snap. Not 100% sure how… but thank goodness I work at a vet clinic and have the resources to hopefully get her fixed up! A week has gone by and she’s doing okay still, being more active than she was initially after injury.

If you’re looking for a good vet… I happen to know a couple. 😉

Sometimes things don’t go to plan. And sometimes you gotta be alright with that.

Be a good neighbor today…

Batten down the hatches… It’s getting cold!

Heated troughs filled, stalls built and opening closed up (we keep the barn open in mild weather), hay bags filled, salt blocks placed, phew!
The horses and ruminants picking through their big bale before we hunker down for a few days inside… hope yall are ready! I’d rather be prepared for nothing, than be prepared for NOTHING!!!

UPDATE: sheep is sold! Goats are on hold. One of them got pretty badly injured so we are keeping her and a friend to keep her company while she heals.

I have a couple super sweet goats and a wool sheep (possibly bred) for sale. Our big changes just aren’t facilitating these guys at the moment and I think they’d be perfect additions to someone else’s farm.

Maggie is a dapple Nubian. Pure from registered lines but selling without papers. Was told she was milked previously but she’s touchy with her udders. A little work and I’m sure she’d stand. Has kidded 2x (singleton and twins) both with zero complications. Not bred.

Velma is a Boer kiko, coming 2 yo. She had one buckling this last summer and was a great momma with no complications. She’s a big ole baby. Sweet and lovey. Not bred.

Sheepie is a sheep. Ewe. Was running with a hair ram when we got her a month ago. She’s pretty shy but is warming up to people with snacks.

These guys have run with horses and dogs. They’re great starter flock members.

Text 417-forn!nes!x-3507 for pricing and location. In Lebanon.

While we painstakingly wait the biggest change with our farm, let me show you some pictures of the family getting to ride some horses. ❤️
One thing I love is getting to share my love of these animals with everyone young and old. And I’m so thankful for a couple of great steeds that I can place everyone on from the youngest toddler to memaw on.
