Gratuitous tulip pic for this snowy,Sspring day. The basement is brimming with beautiful tulips waiting to go to new homes this week. But the field tulips are now under 2 feet of snow. Well played Winter.

What a season. Over the past month, I’ve had to throw out more than 10,000 tulips due to fungal disease. I was so disappointed and I was seriously considering whether it was time to move on to something new. But then things took a turn. I did a deep clean and basically started from scratch. And the results are FINALLY coming to fruition. The new tulips are just starting to bloom and are looking like some of the best I’ve ever grown. And now I’m back to being obsessed with winter tulips and wanting to grow a million. 🤷‍♀️

I want to thank all my CSA members who have stuck with me and emailed so many words of encouragement and friendship. They truly helped and kept me going. I’ll be sending some amazing tulips your way over the next few weeks. Thank you again and again.

First tulip harvest of the season! I don’t grow too many single tulips but these vibrant oranges always make me smile during these cold, snowy days.

Great news everyone! The Winter Tulip CSA is starting even earlier this year: in mid-January! It would make a great Xmas gift 😉.
