Hello everyone. My name is Ivan ( El Chino )I'm a flooring contractor from the Miami area under THE MIAMI FLOORS, Bath & Veneers and not too long ago I became interested in purchasing a floor scraper. Here is how the story went.
I first got interested in the Infinity Terminator and then the National 5700. I search every piece of information I could find about this 2. I had literally signed the contract to purchase the National 5700 when for the first time ( as a miraculous event) an elder on a truck with a trailer pulled up next to me on the road. So when I looked he had a scraper on the trailer. I, convinced that it was a 5700, I asked him, "thas a National 5700, correct?" He replied,," NO THIS IS BETTER!!. A COMPANY CALLED OEM MAKES THEM OUT OF TEXAS"...
What? The elder said that was better? So into a new search, I went. And the elder was right. I came across Nick, which I bombarded with a million questions, I did not like the idea that I was wrong about the 5700. But I figured the elder had nothing to brag about and Nick gave me more than enough reasons to trust his machine ( THE STORM ) was a better machine by large. So THE STORM I purchased, but gest what? My machine wasn't ready and I needed to start the job the following week. So Nick sends a scraper as a loaner so I could start the job. To my surprise when it arrived, it was a 5700. So we had a chance to try the 5700, but this underperformed so bad that I got worried for a minute. It was way to slow and had lack of power for such a big machine. I said to me if THE STORM is like this one, I have totally lost my money. A few days later my new STORM FLOOR SCRAPER came in, so for the adventure, I went, we still needed to demolish the other half of the job. The results? SUPERIOR RESULTS. The STORM which I named my daughter's name GENESIS-Extreme, outperformed, it exceeded my expectations and the results. We were able to remove 4000sf of tile plus thinset in one night. The speed of the machine, the torque of the machine, the weight of the machine and the ONE JOYSTICK handle made the difference. About Nick, I have to say he is really passionate about what he does, very knowledgeable about his and competitors machines. His customer service has been the best, I'm a difficult client. I recommend him and his equipment. He is an outstanding guy to work with.
