The BBA Fog Game!
In an exhilarating and unforgettable series, the Boston Havoc emerged victorious over the North Boston Devil Rays, securing their place in the championship round of the Boston Baseball Association 28+ division with a 5-4 win in this best-of-three Series.
This playoff battle will be remembered as one of the greatest in BBA history, with both teams giving it their all on the field. Tyler Thorgerson of the Devil Rays displayed incredible stamina, pitching in all three games and throwing over 300 pitches in just a week. On the other hand, Havoc ace Seth Perkins shone with a 2-0 record, delivering over 210 pitches and completing two games, including one with only four days of rest.
In the bottom of the 7th, with a runner on first and the game tied and two outs, Omar Ortiz delivered a clutch double to right field, soaring over the head of the right fielder. This walk-off hit propelled the Boston Havoc to their third consecutive finals!
A big shoutout to Alvaro Castillo and the North Boston Devil Rays for an outstanding season!
With this victory, the Boston Havoc advance to their third consecutive championship series, where they’ll take on the formidable Lowell Angels in a rematch of last year’s BBA 28+ championship.

Game 1 😤
09/15/2026
Our Boston Baseball Association Most Improved Player goes to Giuseppe Cincinnato from the North Boston Devil Rays.
This award is about more than numbers. Last year, Giuseppe was working his way back into baseball after years away, rotating in and out of the lineup and fighting to earn his spot. This year? There was no question who the Rays second baseman was.
Nearly 140 innings at 2B and A .985 fielding percentage. But his biggest improvement can’t be found on a stat sheet. Giuseppe became a leader, a voice, and someone the Rays could depend on. With a team-first attitude, great presence, respected by his teammates and around the league. He didn’t just become a better ballplayer, he became a bigger part of what the North Boston Devil Rays are and what this league stands for.
Congratulations Giuseppe!
