12.14 saw the live performance of the 2025 Holiday Album , participants pictured here.

We’ll be at Guitarma tomorrow, one to 3 PM, selling the remainder of the holiday album ornaments. Stop by and say hello in order to support the scholarship program at Americana Music
Academy! 

Rorie Clemens served as the engineer and intern on the 2025 Holiday Album, as well as contributing a track. “Inbetweener” discusses neither hating or liking Christmas, but definitely preferring vacation mode rather than Kansas Winters.

Tomorrow – 3 PM – Sad Cowboy – come experience the album live, and contribute to the Scholarship program!

Joe Randolph is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter from Lawrence, Kansas, known for crafting a rich, soulful sound that fills the room with depth and feeling.

Growing up in an erratic and unsafe home shaped Joe’s early years, and after finding himself in the custody of the state at 15 years old, he discovered music and faith—an outlet and a refuge that helped him navigate some of the hardest parts of life. Ever since, his mission has been to use his God-given gifts to bring joy, hope, and encouragement everywhere he plays.

Joe has built a meaningful career serving at-risk youth, striving to be the same kind of steady support that others were for him along the way. Stepping on stage keeps him centered and connected to the man God created him to be. His sound is raw, honest, and uplifting, shaped by resilience, redemption, and a deep desire to make people feel seen and valued.

Shane & Ben are an Americana/Country duo from Lawrence, KS. A year in, they’ve honed a distinct acoustic sound—always putting the song first. They’re working on their first record, planned for 2026. For their Sad Cowboy performance, Shane & Ben will play three songs that tell the story of a vagrant-turned-outlaw finding his way back to love.

From wineries to coffee shops, fancy private events to busking downtown, Colin and I have been working hard at our two man acoustic set. We trade back and forth, hitting every decade and genre of cover you could think of. We inject writer’s rounds into the middle of our covers sets, and swap jokes and stories like only old friends could. We’d like to make a recording that captures that energy, will you be a part of it?
