Just returning from the grave for a bit to send thanks to Weedian for including us on their Trip to Kansas comp with "Destroy, She Said".

These folks are doing great work for bands new and old, go support their efforts and a slew of killer bands from around Kansas.

A slow and heavy pulse is intensifying in the heartland of America. Kansas has produced a small but notable crop of Stoner Doom Metal bands that would seem an unlikely fit for the conservative state. Their sounds echo throughout the empty countryside. The bleak rural landscape offers inspiration; their sonic assaults evoke the loneliness of the plains and humankind’s primal fears. Despite its archaic conservative values, Kansas’ fervent supporters of heavy music have created a mesmerizing cacophony of heavy riffs and powerful voices.
