Prehistoric Reason For Thunder Rumbles In The Hudson River Scientists are revealing the bizarre reason why thunderous rumblings are coming from the Hudson River.

I’m not entirely sure I was aware of this law. But it feels like yet another example of an indiscriminate use of law enforcement’s time & the courts’ powers over family dynamics. Don’t misunderstand ….of course, children be kept safe. But from time to time over the years, I’ve been a responsible neighbor who has suspected child neglect. However during those times, contacting Child Protective Services along with the police ~ reporting children watching children, hearing screaming & crying… provided zero meaningful results for those situations and only placed me in the frightening position of dealing with neighbor retaliation.

My personal experiences aside & assessing the vagueness of this law, the fact remains: New York has no official legal minimum age for leaving a child home alone.
