Seeing moose is always a treat, but this baby moose was just too cute! The baby is probably only days old. They are beautiful but we definitely kept our distance!

It is with great joy that I'd like to announce the birth of our daughter! As many of you know our first child, Eli, died two days before his due date and I gave birth to him stillborn in August 2022 after a healthy pregnancy. This has been quite the journey the last few years, and our hearts are full of love getting to know our second child.

Thank you SO much for your patience while I am on part time maternity leave. I am still doing website, marketing, and graphic design work as well as selling prints from my online store. I am starting to book some portraits in the studio as well. My schedule will be limited this fall so be sure to book in early! I have been doing a lot of baby wearing her while I work and we've already done a couple shoots together 😃

I managed to take her newborn portraits in the studio 9 days postpartum and it was so rewarding to be able to photographer her myself. I am so grateful for this sweet baby girl and for everyone who has shared in the joy of her life so far.

The northern lights and aurora borealis were shining bright in southeast Wyoming outside of Laramie last night during one of the strongest geomagnetic storms in 20 years. It was perfect conditions with no moon, no clouds, and not even any wind! The skies were dark and the northern lights were dancing, pulsing, and changing in a spectacular and rare light show this far south. An experience I will not forget watching the lights in Medicine Bow National Forest in the mountains.
