Tonight I sat down to reflect on 2023. I looked through the galleries we delivered to clients last year… and it was OVERWHELMING. Haha. looking back and I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and love for my fantastic clients last year. There are so many photos I never got a chance to share, so many people I got to know and adore!

January through April are always a time of rest and reflection for me (oh and taxes of course) but i’m already looking forward to all the fun in store for Summer 2024!!

Oh how I love elopements!! Laid back, beautiful scenery, sometimes there's family and friends around, and sometimes it's just the three of us.
Sometimes I get to officiate, and sometimes I just photograph, but either way these events are short and sweet and full of joy. I have loved getting to help plan and photograph elopements and intimate weddings here in Wyoming and I cannot wait for next summer!
Bianca and Garret's simple summer elopement in Wyoming was the perfect example. This pair travelled to Wyoming with their immediate family from upstate NY to wed under Southeastern Wyoming's Medicine Bow peak.

The internet is alight with folks talking about how often men think about the roman empire.
For me, I too-often think about rock tumblers. I think about the tumbler I had as a kid, how it tumbled and rumbled in the basement closet for months… never producing a polished rock. I wonder if I should get one now and try again. I wonder if I’m like those tumbling rocks. If life’s pressures, challenges, and tumbles are making me shinier and if so, how much more tumbling is left for me.
Do I get to be a pretty shiny rock on a shelf someday?
Am I one already?
Has my tumbling just begun?
Is everyone around me tumbling also?
It’s a beautiful thing to find someone who wants to tumble along side you. A partner who agrees to show you their rough edges and sparkling interiors, and who makes it safe for you to show yours, all while together you set to polishing and tumbling, polishing and tumbling.

ANYWAY, these photos are from Scott and Sheri’s elopement earlier this summer at Lake Marie in Medicine Bow National Forest. I loved getting to document these sweet joy-filled moments with Sheri and Scott and their chlidren. I wonder what one of those sparkling granite rocks from Lake Marie would look like after being tumbled?

Mini sessions take place at our predetermined location with fall colors near Laramie, WY. These are perfect for groups of 5 or fewer, simple senior sessions, minimalistic engagements, maternity, headshots, family portraits, pets, Christmas cards, etc! Short and sweet, these also work well for families with toddlers who may have shorter attention spans.

In case of bad weather, sessions will be moved to Sunday October 8th at the same time and place.
*Please reserve both dates in your calendar as WY weather is temperamental and no refunds will be given*

Things are usually pretty chaotic the morning of a wedding. Hair, makeup, decor, people, meals, clothes, accessories, flowers, pets, vendors, vehicles…. there are SO MANY moving pieces and SO MANY questions. No matter how much planning and prep you do before you say “I Do” the morning-of always has a little bit of chaos, but there’s also love, excitement, and friendship, and I just love finding the beauty in these little in between moments. Let me tell you, having a planner and coordinator (Like ) makes a huge difference! I just love these sweet moments from Anne and Andrew's wedding this summer at the Westin in Downtown Denver. 💕

Talk about an entrance!!🏍️
Lauren and Jett planned the most incredible day in the mountains for their family and friends, and boy oh boy did it RAIN and rain!! But no number of raindrops could dampen their party! It was beautiful and joyful from start to finish. 💕

Sprinkles of rain and fields soaked with wildflowers. 🪻🪻💜🪻🪻
There wasn’t a dry eye on the mountain the day Bianca & Garrett wed. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, these two said I do on the shore of Lake Marie in a simple ceremony officiated by the brides father. Followed by champagne toasts and happy tears, it was an honor to be a part of this beautiful celebration. Thank you, and congratulations Bianca and Garrett!!

Kaylee and Paul. A testament to how beautifully simple love can be. Together with their family, close friends, and a 3-legged puppy named Bluebell they wed at sunrise under Vedauwoo’s towering granite peaks. Then later, after changing into comfy clothes, hosted a brunch in Laramie just blocks from their home together. Waffles, champagne toasts, and cake with fresh fruit. It was simple and beautiful in the most love-filled way. Thank you Kaylee and Paul for letting me document your celebration, may you have many many happy and simply love-filled years together.

The end of the 2023 wedding season is bittersweet. I had SO much fun with you all! This year was by far my busiest and most adventurous… Oh the stories i get to tell! As things slow down, I’m logging back in to social media and i’m so thankful.

How did we deliver so fast? Well, first, I dont do this alone. I work with an amazing long time editor .allums who makes sure every image is perfect! I’m super lucky to have .b.wee our talented Rock climber/Videographer. We’ve also gotten to work with some great interns and assistants helping behind the scenes this year. Second, this year we cut out time consuming posting previews, social media, and blogging, allowing us to focus on editing and delivery. And last, a lot of hard work!

And with that said, we’re going to start at the top and share my favorite moments throughout the summer. Keep your eyes peeled, our next post coming soon!!

As the 2023 wedding season begins to slow down, I’m tuning back to social media and i’m so thankful for all of the beautiful moments we got to share with y’all this year!! It’s been unbelievable, and here’s the kicker, We managed to maintain an average delivery time of ONE WEEK throughout our busiest season.

You heard me right, most couples had their finished wedding galleries in front of them seven days after their wedding!! I’m beyond proud of our team for the images we created and the beautiful stories we got to tell. How did we deliver so fast? Well, first, I dont do this alone. I have an amazing team made up of second photographers, a videographer, an editor, intern, and assistants all helping behind the scenes. Second, this year we cut out posting previews to social media and blogging about the weddings during wedding season after all, that can wait till fall!

And with that said, here it goes! We’re going to start at the top and share my favorite moments throughout the summer. Starting with Brianna & Chris at Deerwood Ranch back in May. LoveLoveLove this day and this gorgeous couple. Kind, genuine and loving through and through, they hosted a love filled event for family and friends in one of Wyoming’s most beautiful places.

This guy's camouflage is amazing! I nearly stepped on him while photographing an elopement, and i'm so glad for everyone that I didn't! His rattle did its job and sent me leaping in the other direction.

Sometimes I’m in the middle of a busy work day, or moving between moments during a wedding, thirsty and complaining about my aching feet and 65 mosquito bites, working away, and suddenly it hits me: I have a surreal incredible career and with it an incredible life. I get to climb to the top of mountains and drive into some of this states most remote places.
I spend my life surrounded by fields of flowers, cute dogs, live music, and happy families. I get to laugh and cry happy tears with folks as they celebrate new and old love. Old wounds are mended and new families are made. I get to witness all of this magic, AND I get to create art while I’m at it! That’s worth the sore body, long drives home late at night, and every damn mosquito bite. I’m thankful, incredibly lucky, and so in awe of you all.

Friends my summer is booked FULL. I am so incredibly grateful (and a teeny tiny bit overwhelmed). 🥰
In an effort to maintain the fastest delivery times and my very best mental health, this season I will not be posting any previews or sneak peeks. Instead, I’m going to deliver images faster than ever before ⚡️⚡️ and spend more time outside in the sunshine with Charlie. 🐶

-25 minute session at set outdoor location
-Minimum of 15 high-resolution edited digital images with print release
-Weather backup plan - Evening of Thursday, October 20th
-Delivery time - Guaranteed delivery of edited digital images via online gallery within 3 weeks.

🖤Portrait sessions (engagements/seniors/families) - Portrait sessions are $695 and take place at the scenic location of your choice either during mornings or evening sunset hours.
