We were proud to help welcome athletes and fans for the MHSAA Baseball, Softball, and Soccer State Finals, as well as the Chaos Summer Showcase 🙌

Seeing packed stands, championship energy, and communities coming together is what makes weekends like this so rewarding. Thank you to everyone who competed, cheered, and helped make these events a success!

We're excited to share that Emily Price has been promoted to Sports Coordinator! 🎉

After supporting Lansing Sports Commission events through a short-term internship opportunity in late 2025, Emily returned as an intern earlier this year and quickly became a valuable member of the team.

A former travel and high school softball player, Emily brings a lifelong passion for sports to her role. She also serves in a management position at a local golf course, bringing valuable experience in hospitality, customer service, and event operations.

We're excited to continue incorporating Emily's energy, strong work ethic, and fresh perspective into everything we do. Please join us in congratulating her on this new role!

It was a beautiful weekend for pickleball! 🌞

PicklePalooza took over Delta Mills Park with tournaments, bounce houses, a pickle-eating contest, food trucks, a 500-pickleball drop, and other activities.

We loved seeing some of our favorite local mascots there: Sparty, Lansing Lugnuts' Big Lug, and Texas Roadhouse mascot Andy Armadillo. Zeke the Wonderdog even joined in on the pickleball fun!

It's a big week for high school athletics! MHSAA baseball, softball, and soccer finals are all happening in Greater Lansing this weekend.

Our team is hard at work prepping for these tournaments, which will bring several hundred athletes to the region.

Today is Global Running Day, and this Saturday is National Trails Day! Greater Lansing is home to miles of trails perfect for getting outside, whether you’re heading out for a run, hopping on your bike, or training for your next race.
