At 55, we started a homestead. Honoring God's design, simple living, and sharing the journey. Life is good out in the country. 💞
Southeast GA, we have bees, chickens, a mini Jersey heifer Stella;RIP, Naomi my mare, Mia and Rosie our dogs. Life as a homesteader is a beautiful blend of simplicity and purpose. Each morning, I am greeted by the chickens' cheerful clucking and the bees' gentle buzzing as they go about their daily tasks. Mia, our loyal chocolate lab, is always by my side, ready for another adventure on the farm.

I grew up eating liver and onions… now I’m freeze-drying it for the pups instead. 🐶🐾
They think it’s gourmet — and honestly, I don’t miss Wednesday’s night meals. 😉

This past weekend we got to enjoy one of the sweetest blessings of the homestead — fresh honey straight from the hive! 🐝
It’s always amazing to see how hard our bees have worked all season long. Every drop is pure, raw, and packed with the goodness of nature. 🌼
