Brad began his military career with the 75th Ranger Regiment and later as a Delta Force Operator. He has since became a founder, lead guitarist and songwriter for the band Silence and Light spreading awareness through music.

Interested to know how the can pay for your education?
The GI Bill is the same for all branches of service wether you go , , or . The Post 9/11 GI Bill covers 100% of any in-state tuition costs and also pays housing allowance.
So why go Army?
Tuition Assistance varies quite a bit from service to service. The Army’s requirement to receive TA, maintain a 2.00 GPA and don’t be flagged, that’s it.

that qualified applicants who enlist in the aviation may have the option to attend 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment selection?

What is 160th (SOAR)?
They are the aviation regiment assigned to fly and support operations for US SOCOM, which includes Special Forces, Delta, and Rangers.

How can can you sign up?
Talk to an Army Recruiter, like myself, and look for OPT 1 when selecting your MOS. Required score on the ASVAB, 50+ and qualify for Airborne school.

When would I go to SOAR selection?
Following basic training and advanced individual training and airborne, you will be assigned to Ft Campbell KY and begin the selection process.

Rangers arrive by land, sea or air and are the top 1% of the Army. Do you have what it takes to be one of the elite? You may be eligible for the Ranger option in your enlistment contract in over 80 different jobs.

Following basic training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), you will attending Ranger Assessment and Selection (RASP). For those who successfully complete RASP, you will attend Airborne School and be assigned to one of three Ranger Battalions.

There are many ways our Soldiers arrive on the battlefield. One of those specialized ways green berets get there is through freefall jumps. It allows special forces soldiers to jump from high altitudes and freefall for several miles in distance to an objective relatively undetected.
