Even though crab cakes may appear to be the healthier option sometimes, a lot of recipes call for fillers such as breadcrumbs, cracker crumbs, and mayo to help bind and hold it together. Without realizing it you can be adding unwanted extra fat and carbs. And Yes event the ones that SEEM meatier still need something to bind together and that is usually not on protocol. โฃ

Preheat air fryer to 400F. Brush basket of air fryer with ยฝ tsp oil. Mix beef with salt. Divide into two and form them into burger patties. Set asideโฃ

Mix okra gently with salt and the remaining oil and add to the air fryer. Cook for 4 minutes.โฃ

Toss okra. Put burger patties in on one side of the air fryer basket and okra fries on the other side. Cook for 4 minutes.โฃ

Candice Kelly

With a Master's in Nutrition and Bachelor's degree in Culinary & Food Services Management, Candice is an expert on food and nutrition. Having over four years of weight loss coaching experience and some amazing success stories, she is excited to help clients meet their weight loss goals and maintain their success for the rest of their lives.

Growing up she played competitive soccer and basketball and coached youth teams in both sports. Recently she has trained and completed several marathons an achievement she never thought possible. Candice is constantly challenging herself and working towards reaching her next goal. She carries this drive into helping others in reaching what they are striving for and becoming their best self.
