New look to an old favorite

Thank you to all of you for supporting the pub over the last couple weeks since we’ve re-opened. Your respect for the staff and each other is much appreciated. In time, normality will prevail. Let’s work through this together. Strength in Numbers ( staying 6 feet apart of course). Cheers!

And so it begins..... it is official, we will re-open on Thursday (3pm) but with limited capacity (25). We will be following the State Mandated guidelines and I would hope all of patrons do the same. The bar has had some updates/changes done to it which I believe you will approve and with a bourbon list and drink menu (small but just what the pub needed) now available, it’s worth coming in to see it. This is a strange time and yes we will get though it, but everyone needs to be smart about this. If you don’t feel well, stay home and come back when you do. The pub will be there. If you want to where a mask, by all means do so. I have set up hand sanitizer stations in the bar and we will be cleaning throughout the day and night to keep everyone as safe as possible. I look forward to the time when all of us feel comfortable and safe wherever we go to eat or drink but that is in the future and we need to deal with now. So, one day at a time and let’s re-boot our social lives. Look forward to seeing you and as always, thanks for supporting the pub, Hugh

Hey Everyone, hope you are doing well and staying healthy!

Just a little update, we don’t have an opening date yet. But, we have spent this time doing renovations to the bar. We have also updated our drinks and bourbon list. We look forward to seeing you when we do open! When we know more, we will be in touch. Be well!

As you may have heard, we have to close tonight at 9pm along with many other small businesses. We will miss you and wish you well during this difficult time. We will keep you posted as we have updates!

On December 1st, we be hosting a Party in Honor of our Kickball Team, Monster Blood who is officially hanging up their cleats. It is Truly and end of an era. Great team and great people. It was our pleasure to support them as they have supported our establishment for so many years. So, with the help of Maker Mark ( Southern Wine and Spirits ) sponsoring the evening and Chef Jim Cox whipping up some of his tasty treats, we will have a little shin dig. Oh, and we decided to donate half of the till for the evening to GiGis playhouse in Lakewood. An organization that holds a special place in my heart. So come on down! All are welcome! Party starts after 7pm!

Happy New Year! Thank you to all who made the party a big success!

ODP Xmas party is December 16th, 8pm. Also, giving A beer/liquor update. Lots of new beers with the typical, and excellent, Xmas ales along with some winter warmers and ciders. Founders KBS has arrived! Plenty of Zombie Dust as well. The bourbon shelf has blown up with the likes of Kentucky Owl, Elijah Craig 18, Blantons, EH Taylor, 4 different orphan barrels, High West’s, and Jefferson’s. Oh, and Pappy is back! There are way too many to list so you’ll just have to stop and see (by that I mean try some). Have a great holiday season and hope to see you on the 16th! Cheers!

Have a few spots still available for the ODP golf outing at Pinebrook (grafton) on Saturday the 30th. 10 am tee time, $100 per player ($400 per foursome): includes 18 and a cart, beer on the course....., lunch at the turn, your skins and pins are included In this and then steak dinner and prizes at the pub after the outing and watch football. Attention all ODP Fam:

The parking policy at O'donnell's has changed a bit, per the landlord of the strip mall. We will always encourage our patrons to avoid drinking & driving. We have a safe place for you to leave your cars in our lot, along the curb in front of the bar, but you MUST do one of two things to ensure that it is not towed!

1. Ask the bartender on duty for a window sign indicating you're a friend of the bar, leave it on your dash, and return it when you retrieve your car, AND/OR,

2. Call the number on the sign located near the Northland entrance, reporting to the tow company that you will be parking overnight.

Columbus Creeper on tap! In my opinion, one of the best Imperial IPA's out there. Also, shandy, Stone 25th anniversary imperial stout, and others. Some new beers in package include: Odd Side ale bean flicker (albino stout), Royal Docks IPA and Wit, and plenty of others. Also, the bourbon and scotch selection is constantly growing. You will definitely find one you like. Stop on in! Cheers

Also back are a few of my favorite bourbons, whiskeys, and Scotches that have been out of stock for some time. Stop in, grab a beer or a cocktail. You may see me on Thursday night if you're around.
