City drops complaints on outdoor store displays A battle over outdoor displays at downtown Lake Geneva stores has ended — for now — with the city dropping municipal citations that were issued against store owners.

UPDATE: At this, the final hour, the City has informed Bob that they are voluntarily dismissing the charges against him. It may seem like good news, when in reality, it is leaving them the ability to enforce the ordinance on him AGAIN while denying him his day in court. This is a shady move on the city’s part. Bob will be pursuing this. More to come!

Bob finally has his day in court tomorrow, December 10,2019 at 11:30am at the Lake Geneva Municipal Court. He is fighting for his right to sell his items in the alcove of his store, which the City has deemed unlawful and subject to fines. Bob would like to thank all of our customers, locals & friends for their kind words and support through this trying time.
