Therapeutic Balance is back to work and taking new clients!

I am taking some extra precautions due to Covid-19 to ensure the safety of all of my clients and myself as well, such as:

- extra sanitization of all surfaces and products between each client

- booking more time between clients for cleaning

- using disposable barriers where applicable

While I am excited to be back working to reduce the stress and tension brought on by this year, I am also working hard to ensure I can do so safely.

After much consideration, I have decided to close my doors for the time being. Although massage can be a great stress reliever in these times, the close contact I have with my clients as well as the lack of detectable early symptom with COVID-19 leaves me one choice: to close down for the safety of all of my clients. While it has not been required of the state yet, I do personally feel this is for the best.

It is imperative during this time that we continue our self care, though it may be modified from your normal routine. Finding new ways to be active, stretch a bit more, drink lots of water, get good sleep and meditation can all be part of a routine that keeps you both physically and mentally healthy. If you have any questions about self care, please feel free to reach out as I would love to help in any way I can.

”I graduated from Cortiva: Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 2009, and have been a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist ever since. I was licensed in Wisconsin in 2011, and have been working in the resort setting for 9 years, before branching out on my own.
