Successfully complete classes, then take & successfully pass the WI state nurses asst certification test (no cost) and you're a CNA!

CNAs are the first line of communication between residents and staff, offering companionship and conversation, and brightening residents days while assisting with daily activities of living (ADLs). Assisting with ADLs include things like serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning and positioning, helping with hygiene, offering fresh water and snacks between meals, companionship, and assisting nursing staff as needed.

This past week we celebrated National Skilled Nursing Care week. We had fun dress up days and a tasty lunch provided by our kitchen each day. We ended the week with Superhero day because we truly have some of the best superheroes on our team. Pictured below are two of them.

Yesterday was a day for celebration! After over a year, our fully vaccinated long term residents were able to return to the dining room to enjoy a meal seated with other residents and for GROUP ACTIVITIES! We celebrated by enjoying some chips, guacamole, salsa and Jarritos during Bingo for Cinco de Mayo.
