This page is dedicated to a recent rescue that touched a lot of people! Champ is a 1 year old boxer who had a severe case of demodex mange (hence the pink coat and lack of hair in his early pictures!). He was depressed and sick in the shelter (Baldwin Park in Los Angeles), but thankfully a foster came forward for him and Lifeline Animal Rescue (http://www.facebook.com/lifelineanimalrescue?ref=ts)
was able to save him! In just a few months, Champ was barely recognizable as the skinny, sad, mangey dog from the Baldwin Park shelter! He was declared "mite-free" in April and is now available for adoption! Some of Champ's best traits are his goofy personality (he sits like a person, loves to watch tv, sprints laps around the yard by himself, and copies everything his "big" brother does), his gentle temperment (he immediately took to his canine and human siblings and keeps watch over the kids at night), and his ability to love so unconditionally even after being treated so poorly by the humans in his past. Champ would love to find a forever home with a canine sister to play with (no other male dogs, please!).
