What does First Class Driving & Safety offer? We offer a sibling discount if you have had a sibling take our 38 hour course.

14 hour Driver Education Course for students 18 and over. Includes 6 hours of classroom instruction & 8 hours of driving instruction.

All students must now acquire a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP) from the OMV before beginning any drivers ed course.

38 Hour Driver Education Course for high school students, 14 yrs & 9 months thru 17 includes: 30 hours classroom instruction & 8 hours of driving instruction

Parents can be the biggest influence on teens' choices behind the wheel if they take the time to talk with their teens about some of the biggest driving risks.

National Teen Driver Safety Week is October 20-26, 2019. Parents should have conversations with their teens about the important rules they need to follow to stay safe behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.

Stay involved with your teen driver even after he or she gets a driver’s license. Let him or her know it’s okay to ask you for help or for more practice. Encourage your teen to only drive in conditions where he or she feels safe.

New drivers learn by example, so if you drive recklessly, your teenage driver may imitate you. Always wear your seatbelt and never drink and drive.

Parents should consider whether teens are easily distracted, nervous or risk takers before allowing them to get a license or even a learners permit.

Talk to your teen about the importance of not driving while distracted. Distractions include phoning or texting while driving, as well as listening to the radio and chatting with friends who are in the car.

Driving is a privilege — make sure that your young driver knows it. Before you hand over the keys, clearly spell out your expectations for good driving behavior.
