UTILITY PAYMENT PROCESSING SOFTWARE DOWN

We are aware that the payment processing system is down. This is an issue that the processing provider is also aware of. They, like so many other companies and agencies across the state, are dealing with outages at their own facilities, employees being unable to reach their workplace, and skeleton crews working diligently to handle things the best they can.

This was my first visit to KC Hair Studio. I called and got in right away. Meghan Rambo was my hair tech and she was great. Her, as well as others in the salon, practiced COVID precautions and gave options. The studio was very clean and smelled pleasant. It was a cozy studio and others there were very friendly. Meghan was professional and respectful of my preferences. She did tell me about the salon services, but didn't try to upsell me on products. She stayed on task, didn't talk my ear off, and didn't waste my time. She was great !!! Thanks Meghan !!

Ok, for everyone who didn’t get to watch the Governor here is an overview:

April 30th - last day of Stay at Home Order

May 1st - Businesses allowed to Open at 25% Capacity:
- Retail stores
- Restaurants
- Movie Theaters
- Libraries
- Museums (interactive displays must stay closed)

May 18th - Phase 2 will be implemented (TBD) but plan is to open more businesses and expand the ones already open to 50% capacity.

Exceptions - if your county has less than 5 COVID cases, these businesses can operate at 50% capacity.

Businesses NOT OPEN:
- Hair Salons
- Barber Shops
- Nails Salons
- Bars
- Gyms
They are hoping to reopen these in Phase 2.

Sports with less than 4 participants can resume (golf, tennis, etc).

Also, the Governor says he recommends wearing a mask but it is not mandated. He also said mandates to wear a mask can not be enforced by the law. He said the state mandate overrides any local mandate.

There was no mention of parks, playgrounds, etc. I assume those will be left up to local government.

Don’t shoot the messenger. Hope this info is helpful! And feel free to correct anything that seems wrong. I was listening closely but I’m not perfect 😊

I sure hope everyone is doing ok through all of the pandemic craziness! Prayers we can open the salon back up soon!
