Here are four things you’re probably doing wrong if you’re still buying bras on your own.

1. BUYING THE BAND TOO BIG
Our natural instinct is to want a bra that’s comfortable from the jump. But that typically means that you’re buying some thing that is too loose and will very quickly become too big.

2. NOT GETTING FITTED
It’s so important to get fitted annually. Getting measured in Stores is great, but it’s just not the same as being fitted.

3. BUYING THE CUP TOO SMALL
Many stores don’t carry anything over a DD so it’s easy to get stuck buying the wrong size because you can’t find what you need.

4. LETTING YOUR BRAS CELEBRATE A BIRTHDAY
When rotating properly and cared for well even the best bras need to be replaced annually. The elastic stretches out and no longer supports you like it should.

Finding peace is an incredible thing. I’m able to look accusations and lies in the face and instead of defending myself, simply smile and nod, “okay.”

Truth is that I’ve gained weight and while I’m comfortable in my body I didn’t necessarily want to spend a small fortune on dressing it over the winter months while I was hibernating just to show up here. Let’s be honest, my seasonal depression, uniform is leggings or sweats, and an oversized crewneck.

And while, other than depression, my life has been pretty great. I didn’t feel especially inspired when it came to actually creating content.
