Mark your calendars — Acadia St. Landry Hospital is bringing back the annual Church Point Trunk or Treat on October 31.

This year, we’re adding a few new things, including a 1-mile family-friendly Fun Run and a costume contest sponsored by Willard's Thrifty Way Pharmacy, LLC .

We’re moving the event to the morning this year, giving the kids a chance to get out, get moving, and enjoy some Halloween fun before all that sugar takes over — while still leaving the evening open for neighborhood trick-or-treating and other Halloween activities.

CPCDC is partnering with VITA to bring the HiSET program to our Community Resource Center! The program will help adult learners prepare to earn their high school equivalency credential.

📲 Interested? Scan the QR code to complete the interest form and help us determine the need in our community.

👩‍🏫 Educators Needed! VITA is also looking for retired teachers and current educators interested in earning extra income by teaching the HiSET program.
