The City has been awarded $497,325 to upgrade 650 streetlights to energy-efficient LED lighting improving safety and visibility throughout the city, including along Highway 167.

Thank you Acadiana for allowing me to tell your stories. Before I came back home, I didnβt think I could make much of a difference and had to prove myself by leaving to start my journalism career. All week I have been calls about parents and their children having to deal with bullying and feel their voices are left unheard and nothing is being done by school administration. I hope that by shedding light, change can come.
