First time here….Thank you mom and dad for picking me up it was so nice to spend time with everyone including Mary and Jay and all the kids❤️ forget to take pictures but the food was great and the mushrooms were so delicious(should have gotten two orders) btw our waitress and all the staff were awesome 😎

Small Business Saturday is a day on the calendar when the general public is encouraged to support their local businesses. We, being a small business, hope and encourage the support of these businesses 365 days a year, not just 1 day. In addition, our small businesses have really taken a hit over the last 18 months regarding shutdowns, inflation and staffing.

How can you support a small business? Be patient as staffing issues has affected many local businesses. Write a ROCKSTAR review on social media pages. Check in and post pictures of your purchases at the business. Purchase gift cards.

Happy Veteran's day!! We wanted to also thank A Common Crown because Steve and Jen run Heroes Bar & Grill. It's a restaurant dedicated to honoring military veterans and their families not just today, but everyday.

Saturday!!! At Heroes Bar & Grill

WOW!! Where to begin about last night?! To start, I'd like to thank everyone who came out to show their support for me releasing my very first solo CD! To spend an evening with people you know truly care about you is beyond cool, and I can't express how much it meant to me! Secondly, I want to thank my fellow musicians and great friends: Matt Ferrante for sharing the stage with me on such and important night, and Steve Craven and Jennifer Craven for allowing me to have my release party at their bar, Heroes Bar & Grill! Lastly, I want to thank my family. My wife, Elisa Carnahan, who hardly ever gets to come out to watch me perform because she's at home taking care of our children so that I am able to perform, for using her free night to come support me and watch me play. I love you, dear, and I was very glad that we got to share such and important night together! Also, my sister, Julie Carnahan Rukse, for coming to support me. I know you don't get to go out much these days, so it was nice to have you there, as I know you understand how much it meant to me!

It's not every day that a man gets to accomplish something so weighty in life like recording and releasing a CD, and although it's a "solo" record, it was hardly just myself that made this possible. My wife, who was always there to listen to me express my doubts and fears about this shift in direction, Mike Ofca at Innovation Studios for helping me out together such a killer debut, and Matt lending his percussive talents to this record all helped to make this happen. I appreciate and love all of you.

Of course this goes without saying, but none of this would've been possible without God Almighty. His profound influence is what helped me to tread this path and continue on when times were tough. It was God who blessed me with this talent for music and drive to succeed. I thank Him for His presence in my life, and for the gift of His son, as God knows that despite my best efforts, I'm a broken sinner in need of forgiveness daily.

I'd like to give a big shout out to everyone who came out to Heroes Bar & Grill to catch my acoustic show last night! It was awesome to see everyone and to get to catch up with people I don't often get to hang with! A big thanks to Steve and Jennifer for having me there and for their hospitality, as well! I'll be out at The Porch this coming Thurs. It's my last acoustic show before I head out for vacation, so don't miss out! I've got some new covers and a new original as well, come out and hear them for yourself!
