Why Little Arrows?

As I was praying about this opportunity and how thankful I was to have it, I wanted to make sure that God was part of the whole process... Including the name! Almost immediately, arrows came to my mind!

What is so significant about arrows? Several years ago, someone shared this verse with me and it stuck with me as my husband and I started serving together in children's ministry. The Bible says that children are like arrows in the hand of a warrior. If you know anything about arrows back in those days, a huge amount of time was spent molding and shaping arrows to make sure that they were ready for battle.

That's what parents do. That's what teachers do. That's what children's pastors do. We are all a part of this process of preparing our kids for the battles they will face in life. Everytime I see an arrow I am reminded of this and honored that God has chosen Will and I to invest in the lives of children, including our own!

I hope that when you shop at Little Arrows, you are reminded of the fact that you are raising little arrows! And what a blessing it is that God has given you the opportunity to shape a young life.
