You know.. I’m going to wager that this will be suppressed regardless…but I’m going to try…Here’s the thing. We teach girls (and just about ALL children) that they are to behave in public. Be seen not heard. Talking about feelings was “airing dirty laundry”, and we don’t do that! Heaven forbid the “Smith’s” from Church finding out that we are just like every other family **GASP**! Fast forward 30 or so years…Do you ever wonder WHY so many friendships and relationships crumble??? There are days I KNOW EXACTLY who I am. Then one small trigger, flashback, smell, loud noise brings me right back into the middle of this repeating cycle.
