Most recently I am blessed to be living on the family farm working the same soil my mom and dad farmed my whole life. In a world where many things bring stress I strive to hold onto the simple things that can bring joy and a smile to all who needs it.

This spring I added several peonies and rose bushes to the farm! This rose is named Bolero and smells amazing!

Rowdy and I had a great time outside today…we played retrieve the stick and Rowdy was my watchdog as I dug some forest soil to add to my raised beds and added to my compost pile! I don’t love the gray days of winter but they are necessary for nature’s rest before the beauty of spring arrives…and it is on it’s way! I have tulips wanting to poke through and today I noticed little green daffodil shoots starting!

Today was a blessing! Great conversation with another flower farmer and the opportunity to deliver this arrangement to a friend! (The order came in through FB Messenger from another state, I was happy to fulfill it and deliver!)
