The idea of 3D printed architecture is taking off in Germany and many parts of the UK. @mense_korte_architekten won the German design award for creating the first fully certified 3D printed home. These homes can be printed with anything from a mix of cement, soil, straw, and rice husk. Modern luxury homes x sustainability 🙌 it's what Elon has planned for Mars, and Dubai is striving to print a quarter of its new buildings by 2030. Our current building industry accounts for a third of the country's waste, but 3D printing is a zero waste method and could majorly cut building time.
