Tired of boring reminders that just say “Take meds” or “Call the doctor”?
You can make your phone remind you with photos, emojis, and a personal touch — it’s easier than you think!
Here’s how to set it up 👇
📱 On iPhone:
1️⃣ Open the Reminders app → Tap New Reminder.
2️⃣ Give it a name (like “💊 Morning Medicine 💪”).
3️⃣ Tap the camera icon to add a photo — maybe your pill bottle or a note.
4️⃣ Tap the info (i) button → Set a time or day to repeat.
📱 On Android:
1️⃣ Open the Google Calendar or Tasks app → Tap Create +.
2️⃣ Name it with an emoji: “🧺 Laundry Day” or “👟 Morning Walk.”
3️⃣ Tap Add Description or Attachments → Choose a photo or file to help you remember what it’s about.
4️⃣ Set it to repeat weekly or daily as needed.
💡 Pro Tip:
If it’s a reminder for someone else — like calling your grandkids — use their photo to make it extra special!
✅Save this post and personalize your reminders today — it’s the easiest way to make tech feel like yours!

When your phone or computer asks to update, it’s not being annoying — it’s protecting you.
Updates fix security holes that hackers use to get in.
Here’s what to do:
1️⃣ Plug in your device (updates need power).
2️⃣ Connect to Wi-Fi.
3️⃣ On iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings → General → Software Update → Install Now.
4️⃣ On Android: Settings → System → System Update → Check for Update.
5️⃣ On Windows/Mac: Search “Update” in your start menu or system settings.
💡 Tip: Set updates to “Automatic” so you don’t have to remember next time.
✅ Share this post to remind a friend who’s been hitting “Remind Me Later” for months!

💡You can scan a document right from the Notes app, no app download needed!
Open Notes → Tap Camera → Scan Documents. 📄✨

Most hacks happen because of weak or reused passwords. A password manager can make life simpler and safer.

Security Tip 🔒 For Banking, Apps, even Notes:
Keeping your accounts safe doesn’t need to be complicated.
Enabling Face ID or fingerprint unlock on your phone adds a powerful layer of security—without making your life harder. A quick setting change today can save you from a big headache later.

FaceTime, Zoom, and WhatsApp aren’t just apps — they’re lifelines! ❤️
I help families set up devices so grandparents, parents, and kids can stay connected without the frustration. Because tech should bring us closer, not push us away. 🥰

Having Slow or Intermittent Wi-Fi issues? 🌐
Before spending hours on the phone with your internet provider, try the oldest (and most effective) trick in the book:
᠅ Restart your router. Unplug it for 30 seconds, plug it back in, and you’ll be surprised how often the connection comes right back.
⎯
Tap ‘Save’ — then try this fix next time your Wi-Fi acts up.

Scam Awareness
🚨 Scammers use texts to create panic. Check the sender first — if it’s unknown, don’t click. When in doubt, call the company directly.
----
Not every text with a link is fake — but scammers count on you acting fast without thinking. Watch for these red flags: 🚩
- The sender looks odd or unknown.
- The message creates urgency (‘Your account will close in 1 hour!’).
- Spelling errors or weird links.
If you’re ever unsure, don’t tap the link. Instead, call your bank, delivery service, or the company directly to confirm. Green flags could be from companies where you just visited their site or it's the same sender each time.
Look for the Short Code!
(A six-digit phone number is referred to as a short code (there are also some instances of 5-digit short codes). These short code numbers were created by the major wireless carriers in 2003 to allow marketers to easily communicate things like promotional offers or important alerts to consumers and they must follow text marketing rules.)
⎯
"If you’re unsure, don’t tap the link — contact the company directly. Need help? DM me the text and I’ll check it for you."
